Research before you build. Diagnose your business or opportunity with real customer evidence, competitor and industry analysis, and a reachable market estimate.
Build a strategy you have tested. Define customer value and your business model, compare alternatives, make clear tradeoffs, and validate with honest experiments.
Prove profit, then execute. Connect every choice to margins, break-even, CAC, LTV, ROI and cash flow, then run an owned 90-day roadmap.
About the course
Passion, expertise and a strong vision do not automatically turn into customers or a profitable business. This course helps you close that gap before you commit significant time and money. You will choose one business, offer or growth decision and carry it through all seven chapters: research, customer value and business model, strategy, validation, marketing, ROI and profitability, and execution. Each chapter includes lessons, worked examples, exercises, worksheets and an assessment rubric, and every assignment builds on the last. You finish with a capstone strategy plan that brings together your diagnosis, customer evidence, value proposition, business model, strategic choices, validation results, financial scenarios, marketing approach and a 90-day roadmap. No prior strategy qualification is required; basic arithmetic and spreadsheet familiarity will help. Plan for roughly 12 to 16 hours of lessons and exercises plus 8 to 12 hours of fieldwork over four to six weeks.
About Your Instructor: Bernedette Atong
I’m Bernedette Atong, a senior technology transformation executive and the Founder and CEO of Faithforge Technologies & Consulting LLC, the company behind Faithforge Academy. My experience spans transportation, healthcare certification, food manufacturing, venue management, and e-commerce, where I have led and supported initiatives connecting business priorities with technology, governance, and operational improvement. I created Business Strategy: From Research to Profitable Growth from both my professional experience and the lessons of building my own business. Early in my entrepreneurial journey, I learned that passion, expertise, and a strong vision do not automatically translate into customers or a profitable business. I want other business leaders to recognize those gaps earlier and avoid the mistakes I made when committing time, money, and resources before fully connecting the vision to a demonstrated business need. That connection is at the heart of this course. Your mission explains why your business exists. Your vision describes what you want it to become. Your strategy must connect both to a customer whose needs you understand, an offer that adds meaningful value, and a business model that can sustain its delivery. The distinction in this course is the connection between those decisions. You will carry one business opportunity through customer research, value proposition development, competitive choices, validation, marketing, financial analysis, and execution. You will examine not only whether customers want your offer, but whether you can reach them, deliver the promised value, and earn a sustainable return. My goal is to help you move beyond an inspiring business idea to a business you can explain, test, measure, and improve. By the end, your capstone will bring your mission, vision, customer value, economics, and execution priorities into one coherent strategy.
